Australian Birth Trauma Association (ABTA)

Frankly House was commissioned to plan, manage and execute a national PR campaign for the Australian Birth Trauma Association (ABTA) during the 2022 Australian Birth Trauma Awareness Week.

The campaign focused on shedding light on the impact of birth trauma in Australia by sharing birth stories and experiences of other women in hope of raising awareness, educating and empowering people across the country.

Highlights included securing exclusive national TV coverage with the ABC’s 7:30 program, plus multiple national online pieces with Mamamia, Daily Mail Australia, SBS Insight, Women’s Agenda and ABC. Local coverage in Cairns Post, Courier Mail, Gold Coast Bulletin, 7 News Sunshine Coast, 9 News Gold Coast and ABC Brisbane were also secured, to name a few.

The campaign was effective in starting vital conversations in the lead up to and during Birth Trauma Awareness Week which enabled the Australian Birth Trauma Association to share their message, engage with its audiences and reveal details of its ground-breaking Physical Injuries Report.
